Chills and thrills

Boy, if there was a way I could get back home for New Year's Day 2008, I'd love to be a part of western New York hockey history. Wouldn't you? Who cares how cold it will be? As a kid, I sat through a couple of late-season Bills games.

dude, i am ordering tickets tomorrow...can't wait to freeze my ass off, just like being a kid again on the cold ice of Lime Lake or the frozen tundra of the Arcade Park Street Hockey rink...ah, those were the days....If for some reason you decide to come home for the game, i might even have a ticket for you!

Don't tempt me, brother. Anyways, I'm going to make a pitch to cover the story for the paper. Either sports or travel or features.

well hopefully you have better luck than most of WNY.....they sold tickets in gobs instead of limiting the amount per person, so needless to say, I couldn't even access ticketmaster online....people are not very happy with the Sabres front office these days...with the ticket fiasco and the lack of class shown in the Teppo Numminen case, it is not all bright and cheery around Sabreland these days....i put the blame on Larry Quinn...didn't like him the first time around with the Sabres and don't like him now.
